Welcome seniors of the 2026 graduating class of North Sanpete High School!

The Scholarship Committee of the Donna M Seager Memorial Scholarship are happy to present to you the 3 main areas of scholarship consideration. Hopefully by now you know what area you want to pursue and you made it here because Mr. Cox gave you the scholarship flyer.

We also need for you to be aware that this is an initial experience for us as a board in preparing an application and the guidelines to follow. What we are presenting to you has been done in collaboration with Mr. Cox and although we may make mistakes we are doing the best we can.

As board members we realize that the college experience and atmosphere can be intimidating and somewhat formidable. Therefore, we ask you to get guidance and use caution in selecting a college or university to attend. Some larger schools may be more prestigious but they are also more expensive. Smaller schools throughout Utah may not be as “glamorous” as their counterparts, but offer the same curriculum and are much less expensive. You may also want to consider attending college in an online environment. You may also reach out to board members for help and advice since all of them are degreed professionals and are well versed in their area of expertise.

We are also aware, that if you receive the award, that after graduation that circumstances may change due any of the following: desire to serve an LDS mission; work for up to a year instead of attending a school; moving (with or without) family to another state to live, work or attend another school once state residency is established; something else that prevents you from attending college. If any of these situations affect you, you may contact the board by email at : donna.scholarship@gmail.com and we will do our best to help you.

After you select your area below, you will be directed to follow a number of steps. This protects both the committee and yourselves. We wish all of you success in your goals and post-graduate endeavors.

To those students that are awarded a scholarship, we hope to hear from you as to your successes and your experiences as well.
